Studio76 is a Taipei-based boutique studio formed by a team of enthusiastic and professional producers and storytellers. Company is established in 2019 with fundings from KKBOX Company, Taiwan’s National Development Fund and Japan’s Asahi Broadcast Group Dream Ventures.

We are two-time winner of the Asian Academy Creative Awards' Best Asian TeleMovie Awards in 2020 and 2021. Additionally, we have achieved 3 victories at the ContentAsia Awards, winning the Best Asian Horror Series in 2020, the Best Asian TeleMovie Awards in 2021, and the Best Male Lead in a TV Program in 2022.

In 2022, we won the Asian TV Awards’ Best Male Lead Award for “You Have To Kill Me”.

Studio76 received 7 nominations at the 2020 Asian TV Awards and four nominations at Taiwan's Golden Bell TV Awards.

In 2023, the latest production LOVE PUNCH is selected the Opening Title for Taoyuan International Film Festival.

Sony Pictures Television Strikes Asian Distribution Pact With Taiwan’s Studio76

Sony Pictures Television has struck a deal to rep six titles from Taiwan‘s Studio76 in 11 Asian markets.

The multi-year, multi-territory distribution agreement covers Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Brunei and other parts of South East Asia.

The six titles covered in the agreement include 76 Horror Bookstore: Tin Can Of Fear, which won Best Horror Series at the ContentAsia Awards and Best Television Movie at the Asian Academy Creative Awards in 2020. Another is Kill For Love, which won Best Television Movie at the ContentAsia Awards and Best Television Movie at the Asian Academy Creative Awards in 2021. Crime drama You Have to Kill Me clinched the Best Male Lead prize for Cheng Jen-shuo at the Asian Television Awards in 2022.

“This new regional partnership with Sony Pictures Television builds on our shared commitment to bring compelling original stories made by talented Taiwanese storytellers to audiences across the South East Asia region,” said Studio76 CEO Dennis Yang.

“The partnership also strengthens Studio76’s mission to distribute the outstanding stories co-developed by top Asian writers and produced in Taiwan to more audiences around Asia, and we’re thrilled to partner with Sony Pictures Television, one of the preeminent distribution organizations in Asia and the world, to deliver on this mission.”

Studio76 has backing from KKBOX Company, Taiwan’s National Development Fund and Japan’s Dream Ventures of Asahi Broadcast Group.
